  • The goal of this is to be more flexible / have more times, but I'm also open to a regularly scheduled time! Feel free to come as a group.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes

In this lecture, you will...

• Listen to a short lecture about the goals of the course, along with differences between embedded systems and general purpose systems
• Complete an in class exercise comparing and contrasting the Arduino Uno, Adafruit Circuit Playground, and STM NUCLEO Board used in this class.
• Receive your board for completing Lab 0

By the end of this lecture, you should be able to...

• Describe the goals of E29 and what you should be able to do at the end of it
• Identify whether a given system is an embedded system, a general purpose system, or neither.
• Describe the similarities and differences between embedded systems used in E15 and the NUCLEO board we will be using in E29.
